A free diagnostic health checkup camp was conducted at Mahadev mandir where about 300 patients were among the beneficiaries.a team of doctors from Aarogyam hospital including physician,surgeon,paediatrician,orthopediacian,ophthalmologist,gynaecologist all rendered their services to the community in collaboration with Olava foundation.

Olava with a view to foster primordial prevention(preventing risk factors leading to diseases) organised an interactive and educational workshop for women above 40 years to celebrate independence day in a unique manner.Dr. Uravshi Hatgaonkar highlighted the key problems arising in women as they age..be it hormonal, physical,mental or emotional changes..how to identify them and combat them through simple lifestyle changes, meditation and yoga through a presentation.the participation of women in solving their queries through anonymous chits received abundant appreciation.

A diagnostic eye check up was conducted for school children of takhatmal high school where children between the age group of 10-14 years were screened for myopia,night blindness ,amblyopia,vitamin a deficiency and conjunctivitis.out of the benefactors about 20% required further checkup and treatment.this health activity was spearheaded by Dr .Rajshree Hatware an eminent ophthalmologist associated with Olava foundation.

Educational Program on Adolescent Health at Ashok Vidyalay, Loni Takli: On February 13, 2024, Olava Foundation conducted an educational program for the school girls of Ashok Vidyalay, located on Loni Takli Badnera Road, Amravati. The focus of the session was to raise awareness about the menstrual cycle and address prevalent health issues among adolescent girls, such as anaemia, abdominal pain, thyroid disorders, and genital infections.
Dr. Urvashi Hatgaonkar, the chief speaker for the event, provided valuable insights on these common health concerns and stressed the importance of proper care, nutrition, and hygiene during menstruation. She also highlighted the significance of certain vaccinations for young girls to prevent potential future health issues.
The session was well-received, with about 100 girls benefiting from Dr. Hatgaonkar's informative lecture, which aimed to empower them with the knowledge to better manage their health and well-being.

Girls' Safety Program at Bhartiya Vidyalay, Shiv Shankar Nagar, Amravati: On September 14, 2024, Olava Foundation conducted a safety awareness program at Bhartiya Vidyalay, Shiv Shankar Nagar, Amravati, for girls under 14 years of age. The session aimed to equip young girls with both physical and digital safety skills.
The guest speakers for the event were Dr. Urvashi Hatgaonkar and Mrs. Vijaya Tembey, who jointly led the program. The session included demonstrations of self-defence techniques through videos and presentations, teaching the girls practical physical defence tips and tricks to protect themselves in real-life situations. In addition to physical safety, the program also focused on cyber safety, educating the girls on how to protect themselves online, avoid digital threats, and ensure privacy.
Around 50 girls participated in this empowering session, gaining vital knowledge to stay safe in both the physical and digital realms. The program was an important initiative by Olava Foundation to help young girls build confidence and develop skills for personal safety.
